What is Web Usability

Web usability is an approach to make web sites easy to use for an end-user, without the requirement that any specialized training be undertaken. The user should be able to intuitively relate the actions he needs to perform on the web page.

The broad goal of usability can be:

Present the information to the user in a clear and concise way.
To give the correct options to the users, in a very obvious way.
To remove any doubt regarding the consequences of an action e.g. clicking on a link / button , will it delete/remove/purchase/update.
Ensuring you place the most important point(s) in the right place on a web page in the correct order.
Sounds simple but it is amazing just how many designers get the basics wrong. If a visitor to your site has to over-think how to navigate your site or perform a certain action, you WILL lose them.

Usability Check

We can run usability checks on your site and feed back to you the results, whether it be a list of quick content fixes that can be implemented right away in order to enhance your site’s usability, or more in depth and long term design fixes you may need.
